We measure every door and drawer face in your kitchen, confirm one of the 16 available profile directions in the full door catalog, and agree on color and hardware. The written estimate identifies what is included.
Built in the shop, hand-finished.
Doors are fabricated in solid hardwood or veneered MDF (your choice), then hand-sprayed in our Kingwood booth with the same Renner 2K coating used on our painted projects. Three coats.
Hung, aligned, and checked.
Old doors come off, new doors and drawer faces are hung, selected hardware is installed, and alignment is checked. Fabrication and installation timing are confirmed in the project schedule.

Browse the finished-door styles available through our replacement-door program. Paint previews stay smooth and texture-free. Stain previews show restrained natural grain so the wood still reads as wood. If the existing door shape works, refinishing may be enough. If the profile needs to change, refacing keeps sound cabinet boxes and replaces the visible door surfaces.

Solid hardwood — oak, white oak, walnut, maple — if you want to see the grain, take a stain, or match a designer spec. Veneered MDF if you’re going painted and want the most stable substrate for a glassy finish that won’t telegraph wood movement.
Either way, fabricated in our shop, hand-finished with Renner Italia 2K, and hung in your kitchen. The boxes you have now stay put — we just replace the visible surfaces.
Range covers a typical 25–40-door kitchen, all visible door fronts and drawer faces. Door profile, substrate, finish, hinges, pulls, panels, modifications, and warranty are included only when listed in the written estimate. Solid-wood substrates and beadboard can change the range.

Refacing or painting — how do I choose?
Painting if your existing doors are in good shape and the profile already works for you. Refacing if you want a different door style (e.g., raised-panel to slim shaker), if your existing doors are warped or damaged, or if you’re changing the cabinet box layout and want fresh visible surfaces.
Will the new doors match the existing cabinet boxes?
Yes. We finish exposed end-panels, gable returns, and visible box faces in the same color as the new doors. From across the kitchen, the boxes and doors read as one continuous run.
How is this different from cabinet replacement?
Replacement tears out the boxes, the countertop, the backsplash, the plumbing, and starts from drywall. Refacing keeps everything structural in place — just the doors, drawer faces, and visible panels change. The written comparison should account for the complete refacing scope and the actual replacement alternative for your kitchen.
Can I add soft-close hinges and slides during refacing?
Yes, when the cabinet construction and selected hardware are compatible. The estimate lists each hinge or slide upgrade, the quantity, and the installed price before it becomes part of the project.
