Warranty Care

Built to last. Cared for correctly.

Your cabinet finish is made for daily kitchen use, but care still matters. We’ll walk you through cleaning, cure time, water exposure, impact damage, and what to do if something needs attention.

What We Stand Behind.

We back the work. If the finish fails because of our process, we make it right. Detailed warranty terms are confirmed in the written proposal and signed agreement — that’s where the specifics live.

Simple Care.

  • Wipe with a soft cloth and a mild dish-soap solution. Dry after.
  • Skip abrasive pads, scouring powders, magic erasers, and bleach-based cleaners on the finish.
  • Rinse spills off promptly — especially around the sink, dishwasher, and trash pull-out.

While the Finish Continues to Cure.

Follow the handoff instructions issued for your project before resuming normal kitchen use. Cure time and early-care limits depend on the approved coating system and site conditions. Until the finish reaches the stage described in your care guide, use soft cloths, wipe spills promptly, and avoid cleaners or contact the guide does not approve. Your accepted warranty explains how cure-period damage is evaluated.

What Cabinet Finishes Are Not Designed For.

  • Sustained water exposure (a leaking dishwasher, a long-term drip under the sink).
  • Impact damage — dropped cookware, hammers, child play, hardware reinstalled with the wrong screws.
  • Abrasive cleaners and chemical strippers.
  • Substrate movement caused by extreme humidity swings or structural changes in the home.

If Something Needs Attention.

Email a photo and a short description to info@colorupcabinets.com with “Warranty Claim” in the subject line promptly after noticing the issue. No arbitrary short reporting period forfeits a claim that is otherwise timely under the accepted warranty and applicable law. ColorUp acknowledges receipt and schedules an inspection; reporting does not itself establish fault, misuse, or coverage. The exact warranty version in the accepted proposal controls over this public summary.

If the finish fails because of our process, we make it right.
